Chandru is a retired judge who was fondly called Justice Chandru. He earned people’s support for his simplicity and hard work. Chandru fights for equal justice for all Indians by cracking downcast discrimination. He grabbed the limelight after the release of social awareness based Kollywood movie Jai Bhim released on 2021. This movie story was based on his true story. His character was played by popular actor Suriya.
Justice K Chandru was also featured in many television talk shows. He successfully gave judgement for more than 96000 cases in his six years career as judge. Usually, government offers red beacon light for judges car. But he asked to remove that kind of light. Chandru authorized some books like Kanam Korttaare!, Listen to My Case! and Order Order.
